There is a wheelchair accessible holiday village in Tortoreto, Abruzzo. It is located in front of a large golden sand beach. The structure is excellently accessible and suitable for accommodating people with limited mobility.

The village in Tortoreto is wheelchair-accessible and has a "vintage" feel with a 90s atmosphere. But the real highlight is the accessibility and services offered to guests.

The facility has a total of 257 houses, which are located at the beginning of the . The sports area and car park are in the central body. They are separated by a discreet railway line and connected by an underpass.

You can choose between two solutions for your stay:

• full board

Regardless, you can use the 24-hour front desk. It offers free storage services and a shared safe for valuable items.

There is an ice cream shop near the pool. There are bars on the beach, in the sports area, and on the beach. There is also a restaurant and a pizzeria. If you want to eat in your room, you can ask for takeout or go to the nearby shops.

The holiday village has a church, a car park, outdoor games area, and entertainment for children. There are also coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers.

The internal medical service is open every day, at the established times.

ACCOMODATION: offers 15 wheelchair-accessible studio apartments, located near the main building of the structure. The studio apartment can fit 3 people. It is 23 m2 and has a double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. In addition, they are equipped with a comfortable outdoor garden. Please pay attention to the toilet handle, as it may be slightly distant from the toilet (as shown in the image gallery). Kitchen linen is not available and guests must return the kitchenette clean.

BEACH: There is a beach just 50 meters away from the property. The beach is equipped for people with motor disabilities and has very fine sand. The Tortoreto beach has walkways for people in wheelchairs. The walkways go up to the umbrellas. The beach also has platforms for guests with disability, amphibious wheelchair, adapted bathrooms, and assistance service. Each guest will be provided with an umbrella and 2 deckchairs for the duration of their stay.

RESTAURANT: It serves many delicious dishes from Abruzzo, made with the finest ingredients. We offer buffet service and assigned tables. We also pay great attention to food problems, such as allergies and particular diets.

POOL: The facility has a central swimming pool with a hydromassage area. It also has a semi-Olympic swimming pool. Both pools have equipped solariums. Both areas are accessible by wheelchair but without tools for entering the water.

ENTERTAINMENT: There are activities for everyone, like Aquagym and games for kids. They also have lively aperitifs for all guests. The covered amphitheater, with a capacity of 700 seats, offers evening shows. For sports lovers, there are:

• 2 tennis courts;
• 1 football field;
• 2 multipurpose courts (tennis/football);
• 1 bowling alley;
• a table tennis area;
• 1 multipurpose basketball/volleyball court;
• 1 beach volleyball court.

PETS: Pets can go anywhere in the village, except for the pools, restaurants, and theater, because of cleanliness rules. At the beach, there is a special area with an umbrella where you can keep your pet close. Just make sure it doesn't go near the water. You can walk your dog in the large green spaces, but it must be on a leash. Please collect its waste to keep the areas clean.
When booking, please let us know if you will be bringing a pet. There is a weekly fee of €42 for pets.

Services not included or to be paid on-site: Activate the air conditioning for €49 per week. Get a Club Card for €40 per person per week (from 3 years old). The Club Card includes an umbrella, 1 deckchair, and 1 sunbed on the beach. Pay €60 for final cleaning. A security deposit of €150 is required per accommodation. There is also a municipal tourist tax. You can rent the tennis court during the day and night, with sports field lighting.
