Wheelchair accessible camping village in Comacchio, Romagna. It is located a few meters from the sea in a green area near the Ferrara beaches. The village consists of a camping area and prefabricated houses/bungalows. The paths in the facility have asphalt, sand, gravel, and dirt, with signs for slopes. There are more than 30 accommodations for guests with motor disabilities. They come in different types: some facing the sea; others closer to the services and swimming pool.
The village has a swimming pool with a lift for easy access. There are also service blocks with accessible toilets. Besides, ther are a mini club with accessible games, a show area, and an accessible beach.
The village market sells products for people with celiac disease and food intolerances. There are also a bar and two restaurants that offer special menus and home delivery.
Check-in is available from 5.00 pm / Check-out to be carried out by 9.00 am.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The accommodations suitable for guests with disabilities can accommodate up to 5 people. Each unit has a porch, a living room with a small kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bedroom with three beds. The bathroom is wheelchair-accessible.
POOL: accessible to people in wheelchairs with a lift for access to the pool.
BEACH: the Comacchio camping village has a private beach. The beach is large and comfortable, and it's about 50 meters away from the central services of the village. The sea is easy to access because the seabed is shallow and slopes gently; the sand is fine. The lifeguard service is available from late May to early September. Qualified staff ensure the safety of everyone on the equipped and free beach. There are amphibious wheelchairs for guests with mobility difficulties to enter the water.
ENTERTAINMENT: Entertainment includes activities for all ages, such as games and shows. Every night at the arena, there are cabarets, shows, dances, circus acts, live music, karaoke, and more. During the weekend and in the warmer season, beach and pool parties are frequent.
There are many sports proposals and there is no shortage of space to do them: a multi-purpose field for practicing five-a-side football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming lessons in the pool, water sports, beach volleyball, and beach tennis on the beach, sports tournaments are also occasionally organized. The structure plans trips in the Delta Pò park for people with limited mobility too.
PETS ALLOWED: Pets are welcome! Dogs and cats of all sizes can stay in the bungalows and enjoy the beach. The beach has both equipped areas and free areas. Owners can bring their pets to restaurants and arenas for shows and entertainment. Payment is requested for each animal present.
