ACCOMMODATION: The holiday village in Tuscany is highly accessible for guests with disabilities. This is due to the many accommodations specifically designed for them.
The facility consists of terraced houses made of masonry. The houses are approximately 40 m2 in size. The houses are split into two categories: "Two-room Apartments" and "Standard Three-room Apartments."
The "Two-room Apartments" can accommodate up to 4 people. The "Standard Three-room Apartments" can accommodate up to 6 people.
For guests with disabilities, there are 12 adapted two-room apartments. The accomodations are accessible to people with reduced mobility and are equipped with:
- small garden;
- independent entrance;
- external veranda with table and chairs;
- flat screen T.V.;
- crockery;
- B.C.;
- courtesy set in the bathroom.
POOLS: the holiday village has 2 pools, 1 for children and 1 for adults. The adult pool is accessible to people in wheelchairs. This is made possible by the lift and the village's assistance.
BEACH: The village is situated roughly 800 meters from a beach in Follonica that is accessible to wheelchair users. The holiday village has an agreement with this beach.
The beaches can be reached on foot via a dedicated path and are accessible via a walkway. The walkway gets 10 m from the water's edge. It can accommodate wheelchairs and customers with motor disabilities.
Stations for guests with disabilities can have a detachable base. The base goes between the walkway and the deckchairs. This makes it easier for wheelchairs to pass and park.
Guests with limited mobility have access to an amphibious wheelchair. This wheelchair assists with entry into the water. There are also accessible toilets available for these guests.
The route is long, so you can reach the beach by car. The beach has reserved disabled parking in front of it.
RESTAURANT: In the morning, a sweet and savory buffet breakfast is served. For lunch and dinner, the menu offers typical Tuscan dishes.
ENTERTAINMENT: Entertainers and village staff are available all day, offering different activities. The activities include a mini-club, game tournaments, and evening shows. Additionally, there are cabaret performances and various genres of music.
ANIMALS: 4-legged friends are welcome and can access all outdoor areas. Around the swimming pool, a particular sunbathing area has been set up.
The owners are asked to follow the basic hygiene rules and respect other guests of the village. Furthermore, dogs are not allowed on the accessible beach affiliated with the village.
